Argyle Materials sponsors Agile Racing in the Race to Alaska (R2AK)

Argyle Materials likes to push the boundaries of what is possible, especially for Stratasys Fortus 3d printer machine owners: we take the OEM handcuffs off. As such we are proud to sponsor a great customer Agile Manufacturing, Inc and their race team Agile Racing in their Race 2 Alaska.

The R2AK is a 750 mile race from Victoria to Ketchican, Alaska. Just two rules: no motors (self propulsion allowed) and no outside assistance. First place $10,000, second place Steak Knives. 

The Agile Racing team is a three man crew sailing a Melges 24 day sailer for what should be five to seven days straight of sailing, fully exposed to the elements. Race boat photo below.
